➳ Transition is an internal psychological process of adapting to a new situation and an important component of human evolution. There could be no one better than the magnificent Yonder who is a specialist in being mindful through musical adventures and she created a beautiful mix which will lead us through the three stages of our ritual. 

➳ Stage 1: Ending & Letting Go
The first step before starting something new is to realize that the current is ending. In this stage it is important to remember and reflect. What were your positive and negative key-moments, what kind of personal growth did you experience and what would you like to work on? Take a few minutes and write all your thoughts down.

➳ Stage 2: The Neutral Zone
This is the heart of the process and defines the bridge between the old and the new. This stage can be about great creativity, innovation and renewal and the chance to figure out new ways of thinking and handling situations. After realizing what was “good” and “bad” this stage is about HOW to get learnings out of it. What habits would you like to work on? What positive habits would you like to keep up? Letting go of what’s no longer needed, making a gameplan, setting goals and transition into the “New You”

➳ Stage 3: The New Beginning
All goals are set, and all thoughts are made. It’s time to put everything into action and start the time of energy and thriving. Don’t forget to define certain goals to keep track along the way and to keep you from falling back into the “Old You”

Folktronica is a style that was born as a seed sent by Mother Earth and reproduced around the world like flowers, being the musicians it's bees. From Latin America they made their way to the cities like the green arms of the Amazon, but with charangos, flutes and synthesizers, until reaching the most remote places of the Earth as a whole new voice in electronic music.

With the mission to find the precious balance between the world of traditions and technology, plus a touch of mystery and modernity, folktronica positioned itself as a genre in alternative websites such as Bandcamp and Soundcloud, and then became massive in Youtube and Spotify, which were filled with artists, fans and music that spread the style from Latin America to the world, finding then each region of the world its own interpretation of this mixture of ancient sounds and contemporary technology.

Today, in the midst of a chaotic present in humanity and in the face of a Western music industry focused on the purely commercial, the beauty and depth of this ¨mestizo¨ movement that speaks of Mother Earth, folkloric traditions, ancestral rhythms and themes of the spirit is often overlooked, meanwhile it keeps exploring with the highest musical technology and forming itself as a new great world underground movement. Today Ritmos del Sur undertakes a project to share, strengthen and value these musical ideas that already inhabit the whole world, with flavors that from Latin America also pass through Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and much more. ¨This is Folktronica¨ is an eclectic compilation of 14 songs that are immersed in this genre, a spiritual nectar that we hope will bring you peace, joy and lots of rhythm to cheer your body and soul.

This project was developed by Ritmos del Sur, with the sponsorship of Cosmovision Records, with its beautiful artwork designed by Choque and a sound exquisitely Mastered by Matías Parisi, both from Argentina and compiled by  El Extravagante and Don Mescal.

Recording of my Ecstatic Dance set as part of Festival Cempasúchil on Día De Muertos in Mexico City. It was such a vibe to have people dressed up as magical beings in a packed geodesic dome in the middle of the city. On an evening where the return of departed souls to planet earth is celebrated. URUCUM is a downtempo project led by Daniel, a young Austrian Producer and Dj who got inspired through his travels to Latin America to translate the insights he collected there through living, connecting and working with the tribes and their sacred native medicine into organic-electronic music for the european crowd. The result is a special heart-opening and roots-nurturing accoustic gift from the etherical into the physical, that invites us to dance, pray, dream, heal and fly high with the mission to create togetherness for a world that offers peace, love and respect for all! Packed with flutes, hand drums and sacred chants URUCUM guides us through a sound-journey that sends us directly into a dreamscape of a tropical forest atmosphere. He is a skillful talent who published his amazing downtempo and medicine music on labels like NUMA, Resueño, Cosmovision Records, Ohxala Records & Mónada.
Daniel's mix is accompanied by Radka Tiarksova's „The Children Of Trees“ which perfectly mirrors the message and intention his heart beats for.

It has been over a decade since the global electronica scene sampled its first Desert Dwellers remix. Synthesized from a menagerie of old-world acoustics infused with the pulsating beat of the electronic underground, it was these early re-visions of Desert Dwellers’ genre-melding music that would come to serve as a foundation for the duo’s evolving relationship with the alchemical art of remixing, as exhibited by over 100 remixes of their style-defining tracks since the project first took shape in the late 1990s. 

’Breath Re-Imagined Vol. 2’ carries on in this evolving tradition as producers Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe hand the building blocks of their 2019 album, ‘Breath,’ over to eleven musical adepts from the realms of downtempo house and electronica for a scintillating new installment to their global music tale. Spiced with the ambrosial flavors of world beat and folkloric house, ‘Breath Re-Imagined Vol. 2’ brings a dreamy and evocative edge to Breath’s ethereal landscapes, blending in heavier percussion and deep, technical grooves to craft a dance floor elixir that guides us further into the essence of Desert Dwellers’ shapeshifting musical visions.
