There’s a mystical place in the heart of Rotterdam, oddly tucked in between the corporate buildings. Bright light boards and red velvet carpets, it's a small cinema that still breaths its old-school grandeur. That’s where the Cinerama Adventures project was born, lead by its staff supervisor DJ Overdose. The result are two tracks that go from modern flavored freestyle to sleazy darkroom experiments, both accompanied by the instrumental versions.

Emerging from the shadows, Hesperius Draco returns to Frigio with a solo release for the first time since his 2016 album Actus Tragicus.

Directive V conjures up the magic of giallo horror, silver screen slashers and smoky synthlines, while exploring something altogether new. Tempered percussion and low bass-lines “introduce the 12” with “Lexploitation”. Cinematic influences percolate in the steady percussion and lonesome elation of “Memories of Sex Desire.” The mood changes on the flip with “Leaders In Space.” Guitar strings and breathy samples blend to create a leering late lounge track spiked with acid notes and vocoder bitterness. The finale brings something totally different. The gurgling acid line is amplified as Hesperius Draco unveils “Cyber Bondage.” Floor centric and machine steeped, stabbing synth-lines, rusted rhythms and an inchoate energy course through this finale to display yet another side of Alessandro Parisi’s sound.

Things hadn't come easy for her, everything she had she'd worked tirelessly for. Since childhood she'd had no help or hand outs; she brought herself up, she was her own parent, teacher, brother and sister. Not many people knew how hard life had been for her in the past, it was something she'd chosen to keep to herself. It wasn't through embarrassment or shame, she was proud of her journey and how she'd got to this point, but she believed that if people were to judge her, it could only be based on the person she was today.

Unrealistic Electronics is a brand new label birthed in Spain. For their first release they've called on some of their favourite music minds to set the tone for what can be expected from their camp in future. The eponymous compilation features 10 tracks from artists across the globe who are exploring the worlds of minimal wave, electro and punk-tinged electronics. Each artist brings their own distinct take on these raw, DIY sounds including the likes of Florian Kupfer, Das Ding, Beau Wanzer, Maoupa Mazzocchetti and Anna Funk Damage.

ITALO MODERNI brings Modernation Vol.4. The last of 4 compilations, this time it's being released on vinyl. We want to finish this compilation with the best production quality, with artists like Alessandro Adriani, Timothy J. Fairplay, Chino, Chupacabras, Leroy Se Meurt, Le Chocolat Noir, Univac and Adrian Marth. The a-side sounds like an late-80s industrial EBM cut, focused on playing in the heat of the club. The b-side, on the other hand, goes more towards Electro eighties, with weird sounds and a strong metallic beat- perfect for the adventerous working DJ. 200% club approved!

The Hague-based label Oracle Bones return for their second release following February's inaugural release from JEANS. Continuing the influences heard on that release like trance, techno and jungle, Amsterdam's Rigson also adds flavours like acid, electro and techno into the mix across the four tracks. Our pick, 'Logical Rudeness', is a haunting electro cut, carried along by rumbling bass and hypnotic synth lines.

A new subdivision of Pinkman called Mindri, run by Afra and Marsman will be launched in January. The first release by Pluto Junkies, a collab project between Ernestas Sadau, Rapha & PRZ goes straight into the alley of mind bending and stomach swirling releases. Drenched in 90’s retro-futurist electro spirit, Flying Spaghetti Monstership is what you would call a secret weapon at a rave. Fuelled with ferocity and seasoned with nostalgia, it feels like hedonist nights and forgotten conversations in crammed basements.
