This is a Beatles song written by George Harrison. I learned how to play it and modified it a little (by that I mean I changed the key and play it very mediocre). I only did one take and posted it because I knew if I were to be nit picky and look for perfection I would be rerecording endlessly, ultimately give up, then never post it. Anyway, here you go. I could probably play it better if I kept practicing but I wanted to record it today... so here ya go. Also, I listened to an Elliot Smith cover of this song and cried, so I think everyone should check that out.

This is a song written by Squeeze. In 5th grade Squeeze was my favorite band. My class once did a poetry project and for part of it we had to pick a song to analyze. I chose Black Coffee In Bed. At 10 years old I didn't quite understand the meaning of the song. Who knew that 12 years later it would be so relatable?

I could work on my vocals ... pitchy oops. This song is about how I thought (for whatever reason) that someone I wanted to reach out to me would reach out to me on my birthday, but didn't, and how I saw a band we both really enjoyed alone at a festival at midnight and it hurt but I still had fun.

I never knew that someone I loved so much could also hurt me so much. Although, I guess the people you love the most are also the ones that can hurt you the most. Being said, this is a song about a boy who really hurt me, but also made me realize that I deserve better than him. I deserve someone who is kind and respectful., someone who doesn't hurt me nor warps the things I say. The thing that really got me was when he said that he thinks that I wasn't really in love with him, rather just "infatuated" with him. If he was that blind to the amount of love I had for him, I guess that his own problem now. Yeah but anyway, that is what inspired this song. 

Also, I have been listening to a crap ton of My Bloody Valentine -- hence the tremolo effect.

Hmmm this was inspired by, you guessed it, the trials and tribulations of LIFE!! My sink has been clogged for a while so I was inspired to write a song about it. WARNING: if no one has told you -- don't out coffee grounds down the kitchen sink :) but yeah i am really just out here trying to make it through
