Susceptible V3

A dnb track inching me ever closer to full on breakcore with a focus on overpowering drum chops and melancholy chords.   This track, while short, packs out its run time with high energy rhythms, dramatic transitions, and just a touch of wholesome fun.  It's been too long everyone!  Days turn to weeks, weeks turn to months, and time seems to have a way of slipping by at an alarmingly rate if you don't keep an eye on it.  

Looking to get back on my weekly release schedule - at least for the time being 😅

Thanks @naoki-breaks for reaching out to participate in a PlayStation tech demo sample flip challenge.  Sry but I could not resist making this abhorrent abomination of a track.

Chimaera - PSX T-REX SAMPLE CHALLENGE

A scrapy little house track with a focus on over saturation and quirky grooves.   This track rides a balance between upbeat and moody to make listener bob with the crumbling beat and swing with the wonky chords.  This track is an idea I have been kicking around for some time, where the saturation is almost greater than the elements themselves which makes for an interesting (albeit kinda harsh) sound.  It's another short one, but rest assured I have some full-length tracks in the works.

Wrong Place Wrong Time

Breakbeat track with a focus on powerful gospel vocals and dynamic breaks.  This track brings soulful vibes together with driving rhythms to take listeners to church.  I had way too much fun working on this one.  The energy and emotions in the vocals just did all the work for me.  Also, the organ 🤤 - expect to hear some more organ from me in the future, because that was just too fun.

Another PSX challenge track for @naoki-breaks - This sample was begging for a bit of a spooky twist so I couldn't help digging up a little taste of thalassophobia to go along with the manta ray mascot of the PSX Demo.  Happy Spooky Season 🙌

Raw Vol. 1

When you didn't have a worry in the world, and the peddles on your bike were an instrument to strut, cruise and swagger your way down the road.  "

2 Kewl 4 Skewl

Heavy breakbeat track with a focus on slamming drums and emergent grooves.  This track is rude but still has the ability to woo listeners with its contangoesly moving grooves.  Keen listeners may notice it shares a lot of commonalities with "Stray Further".  I built this track out of its sound design session repurposing the drums and making all new melodics.  So, I like to think of this as a sibling track.  Would def recommend building a sibling of you own as this was a blast to work on.
