When I made the melody and the chord progression, I imagined a floating island. I wanted to create a dreamy, relaxing atmosphere with the piano and synth layers, like a safe place where you can just sit back, and enjoy the ocean breeze. I also added some jazzy melodies, just for the lofi feel, but I love the flute the most. The short key solo was really challenging to make, but I'm happy with the final tone.
