An Encounter

This is track one of the EP I made for my extended project that I did in sixth form, about the influence of 80s music on today. I'm saying stuff through a vocoder on it. There's also ambience that includes my EPQ sessions at school, my Mum and Aunt talking in the kitchen, me breathing, and some funky effects.

Noir

I decided to make the second track on my EP an adaption of Chicago. I tried including styles and artistic influences ranging from Chicago House, to Kraftwerk, to Avicii, to New Order, to Duran Duran, to techno, and it's pretty mad, but it's fun to listen to.

Chicago II

This track has one of my favourite synth melodies that I've come up with.

This was adapted from an older track. It includes my own vocals, in which I'm reading from a book about the history of dance music.

America

This is meant to be a grand m83 esque interlude in which I steal lyrics from Reunion M83.

Lighting Bolt

This one was done on Logic Pro 9 and inspired by The 1975, You. I like how unashamedly joyous it is.

The first track I made with Logic Pro X. Looking back it sounds a little bit like hold music.

The Kiss

This was made in the hot Spring of the 2020 COVID lockdown.

Made this when I was 18, late at night in my University room.
