Well i truly believe the underground house sound of the 90s is where the big treasure of house music lies.
New York, Chicago, Detroit, San Fransisco, Paris, London were capital cities with labels that promoted house productions with quality.
My journey and destination is to keep this underground vibe alive and that's why i'm on DJ Sneak's (i was a fan of his music from day 1) side being a house gangster. Let's keep the fire burning y'all!

Νew released track "Music in the night" is a production made by an experienced house music DJ (DJ EFUNK) and a talented new age producer (EMANUEL) in electronic music.
The groove of the track lies in the fusion of the 70s funk feeling with the classic and future sound of chicago and is created for the dancefloor.
The "House Gangster Mix" follows with respect the classic chicago style, while the "El professor mix" gives a more tech-house and progressive feeling.
The track is released by Scuba Grooves and is available on all music stores worldwide.

HOUSE GANGSTER DJ EFUNK @ UNDERGROUND VAULT PROJECT #46 @ 5 NOVEMBER 2024

In recent years we have seen the star of DJ EFUNK  emerge as a recognizable staple in the underground house music scene in Thessaloniki.

His musical identity is music from the US(New York, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco etc), french filtered house and jackin style.

Born and raised in Stuttgart Germany he engaged early as a teenage DJ in the Hip Hop culture and gathered strong musical experiences from the black music scene (funk, electro-funk, rap and soul).

Started Dj'ing in school parties and local clubs in Ludwigsburg and Stuttgart while he was still a high school student.

Deeply influenced by the black local DJ's from USA spinning in the area of Stuttgart (Cut master Rob etc.), he mastered advanced turntable techniques and achieved the 3rd position in the official DMC Greece.    

During his university years he founded the BASEMENT parties together with friends and introduced the original New York and Chicago house sound to the city of Heraklion and island of Crete.


Today he is presenting a radio mix show every week at plasticradio.gr and making DJ appearances in Bars and Clubs in Thessaloniki and abroad, focused mainly on places with dance culture.

His DJ mixes on Mixcloud.com are positioned among the top 10 positions for #house and #deep house in Greece and the top 30 in the #Global Chicago House chart.

DJ EFUNK made recently (24/3/23) his debut as a producer with the track "Music in the night" together with the talented electronic music producer EMANUEL.

The track is released by Scuba Grooves and is available on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbGV878kfps and all music stores worldwide.

His regular DJ booth contains 2 DENON PRIME S5000M PRIME vinyl-feel CD players, an Allen Heath XONE92 mixer, a Bozak 4 band Isolator, a TRAKTOR CONTROL Z2 and 2 Technics MK II turntables.

Happy and open to all kinds of collaboration with Clubs, Bars, Event Organizers, Radio Stations, Record Labels and music professionals.
