Five tracks of raw, live FISTULA.  After the grinding sludgecore firestorm of Northern Aggression & Vermin Prolificus, the ‘Boston’ era of Fistula came to an end.  Founding member Corey Bing and ‘Vermin’ vocalist/PATAC Records founder Dan Harrington return to the rustbelt recruiting Akron Ohio’s Buddy Peel on bass and Jeff Sullivan on drums.

Throughout the spring and summer of 2014 the lineup immediately went to work writing new material which would develop into the material presented here.  These five tracks were recorded during two practice sessions, the first four tracks recorded LIVE (no overdubs) in Jeff Sullivan’s basement during November 2014, the fifth track (originally recorded in 2012 for the split with RADIATION SICKNESS) was recorded January 2015.  Vocals were recorded in one take during February 2015.

After FISTULA’s four European shows, founding member Bahb Branca will return to the band to play second guitar.  FISTULA already has a new album ready to record toward the end of this year…

Cult UK doom/sludge outfit IRON MONKEY return with 9-13, their first new full-length in almost two decades. After disbanding in 1999 due to the death of their original singer J.P. Morrow, the group has reformed for phase two of their mission. Recorded in their hometown of Nottingham in Spring 2017 A.D. with producer Johnny A. Carter, 9-13 is 9 songs and 48 minutes of total nihilism. Now older, more cynical and more isolationist, IRON MONKEY are back to usurp the scene, then crush it's skull. Without question, their most focused, aggressive and direct material to date, 9-13 is an all-out assault of violent hatred and nightmarish negativity.
