The 90’s rave scene embodied a sense of freedom, defiance, energy, and diversity. Konvic’s track, ‘Dove Days’ celebrated that with a hard techno edge and spoken vocals by DeepDownDirty label boss and founder Maya Stone.

Fast forward seven years from the release of ‘Dove Days’ (and as DeepDownDirty fast approaches its tenth year of existence) and Konvic has put together a full album’s worth of eclectic new music to complement the original track, bringing it bang up-to-date with hiphop-edged techno in ‘Escape Key’ featuring Melee; a drum and bass duo of tracks in ‘We Need Love' & ‘Aura’, which both feature TiaSun; and 'Gaia’, with its hard neuro-influenced riff.

Amongst the techno you can also find the bouncy ‘Moroccon Nights’, with its North African-influenced vibe; an acid techno collaboration with Alf E James, ‘Rhythm is in my Mind’; the pulsating groove of ‘Dance’, the third track to feature TiaSun; the vibrant chords of ‘Keep Walking By’; the underground feel of ‘Exit Light'; and the subversive ‘Don’t Be Afraid’, a collaboration with Coqui.

This is music that celebrates the liberating, hedonistic 90’s rave scene with a futuristic edge. Its euphoric, rebellious and wild. It embodies great dance music in its all its glorious variety across the eleven tracks. As Maya says on ‘Dove Days’, “It didn’t matter who you were or what you did, we were united by the music,”.

'Dove Days’ the LP stands as a reminder and testament of how true that still is.

Back for his 3rd EP on Filth On Acid, it's the master of brainmelters with pumping beats, Ilija Djokovic, who serves up four more fantastic cuts. We challenge you to play these 4 rocks on a big rig before a massive crowd and not see the concept of gravity being questioned.

Atom kicks off with big techno drums and tense synths layering up into an intense groove. It’s scintillating stuff that takes you to the edge of the cosmos. Gravity is a deeper, more heady track with menacing bass and shooting lasers. Nebula then sucks you into a spooky sound world, with hard drums and cinematic synths adding up to an evocative journey. Last of all, 1991 is more tripped out, with beautiful melodies circling above the soft drums, which makes it feel like you are adrift in space. 

These are four more superbly dramatic techno cuts from one of the best in the game.

Rising trio Triart is back on Ethereal Future with their new three-tracker EP titled ‘’Last Day Dream’’. Following the first two singles, ‘’Last Day Dream’' keeps portraying the dark, moody cuts with a dramatic narrative. Lots of little carefully designed details in the track build real tension where euphoric top-line lead sound creates a wide-open void in ears and minds.

@joveishere is an up-and-coming techno house music producer and DJ from Melbourne. 

Starting out as a producer of Pop music, Jove is a ripe talent coming out of Melbourne at the young age of 19. Recently making a shift into a deeper dance project.

Kicking 2020 off with his Metanoia/Djanga EP, along with his single 'Night Alone', Jove has gained the attention from the likes of Eelke Kleijn, Generik, Ivan Gough, JDG and Groove Cartel for his works.

"Hinterland" track:

Following an organic thong bass pluck and progressive arp repetitions, 'Hinterland' takes inspiration from Made in Paris' track 'Pursuit'. This dreamy track kicks off with a multitude of rhythmic elements supporting a rolling progressive baseline, driving the progression, and emphasising chill, yet dark sounds which entangle within each other.

"Acid Facial" track:

The inspiration for 'Acid Facial' came when Jove stumbled across an entrancing ethereal vocal. Aligning with the rolling bass and acid licks.
