I have read that the Norwegian word „Oppholdsvaer“ describes a specific weather condition just after the rain has stopped. A special moment. In German there is no specific word for it. While I produced this piece I had to think about this particular word … also in a figurative sense …  I hope you enjoy.  Thanks a lot for listening!

Do you believe in love at first sight?  

Towards the end of my second day at my job, my supervisor took me around to meet some other people in the organization that I would be supporting.  When Jeff introduced me to this long blond haired beauty, I actually got dizzy.  18 months later I was dating that beautiful lady and 4 years after that we were married.  My wife doesn’t believe me when I tell her and the kids this story, but it really happened.  So, I don’t know if there is love at first sight, but if one of you feels that your world has just shifted, take heed of this wonderful opportunity.

It's not easy to write and perform a romantic ballad without it sounding cheesy.  It takes beautiful lines of poetry, a melody that stirs emotions, and a delivery from the heart.  I hope this song has those qualities.
