Blue was studying psychology at a catholic university when they started questioning their gender. Once they came out as non-binary, they decided to radically change their life and started recording their music at a studio. The composer says that music helped them process trauma that had been with them for years. The studio they were working at closed down due to the pandemic and so they started learning to produce themselves. About a year later Blue got into music university in Berlin and soon began working on their final project of their first year, a very personal EP. Since then, they have been finding their sound and collaborating with new friends. 

Blue was born in Denmark and is very proud of their Brazilian heritage, but as a child of an expat, they grew up moving around quite a bit. The artist is a singer/songwriter and producer who is heavily influenced by artists like Kali Uchis and Mitski. They started singing in school choirs and eventually started writing their own songs. Blue has found a home in the indie pop and dream pop scene. Most of their songs are gender-neutral and a trending topic in their music is love. As a sentimental person and an advocate for mental health, their goal is to write songs that people can relate to.
