With Earth's departure Gusgus was forced to tour in the spring of 2008 relying mostly on unfinished tracks planed for the next album release.  These tracks evolved in the live set and in December 2008 the album 24/7 was recorded live @ Tankurinn.  Here is a recording of the track "On the Job" as the band felt it should be performed in October that same year.

Gusgus did once a cover version of the old Purrkur Pilnik trak í Augum Úti.  Einar Örn was tricked into performing this at the Airwaves festival in 2003.  Later it was produced further and became the track "If you don't jump"
