Haben die Produzenten von gradlinigem Dancefloor-Rumms die Bezeichnung Musiker verdient? Zumindest im Falle von BONDI lautet die Antwort: Ja. Das Duo liefert nämlich den kurzweiligen Beweis dafür, dass sich rhythmische Funktionaliät und musikalischer Anspruch nicht zwangsläufig ausschließen. Ihr hypnotischer Sound erinnert gleichzeitig an ein Raumschiff, das gerade seine Triebwerke hochfährt, und an einen entspannten Abend mit Klampfe am Lagerfeuer. Melancholische Töne mischen sich unter mechanisches Klackern, die organische Wärme von analogen Klängen unter die surreale Brillianz digitaler Schallwellen. Nicht zuletzt ist es der Einsatz einer menschlichen Stimme, der den Tracks eine einzigartige atmosphärische Dichte verleiht. Dazu gibt’s zwei Remixe, von Mollono.Bass und Schäufler & Zovsky, die das Groove-Spektrum um vertrackte Basslines und rollende Deepness erweitern.

Is it appropriate to call the producers of four-to-the-floor dance floor tunes musicians? In the case of BONDI, the answer is: Yes, definitely. The duo proves that rhythmic functionality and musical sophistication do not necessarily exclude each other - and it does so in the most entertaining way: It sounds like a spaceship is powering up its engines, but at the same time there’s the vibe of a chilled-out night with a bonfire and easy guitar songs. Melancholic emotions mix into compelling grooves, the organic warmth of analogue sounds mixes with the surreal brilliance of digitally synthesized soundwaves. Last but not least, it’s a human voice that really breathes life into these productions. There’s also two remixes, by Mollono.Bass and Schäufler & Zovsky, which add a nice bonus of twisted bass lines and rolling deepness.

Berlin-based Electro/Pop duo Yeah But No announce the release of the latest addition to "Demons Remixes", a series of carefully chosen remixes accompanying their sophomore album "Demons".

Yeah But No is comprised of Douglas Greed and Fabian Kuss. Merging electronic music with classic song structures into a smart and captivating listening enjoyment is the band's objective ever since they started collaborating. 

Being on the road constantly, Yeah But No have shaped and redefined their musical vision of the band. Dealing with inner and outer conflicts and contrarieties, "Demons" is a slightly darker and more mature piece of music than the bands previous releases. 

Following the two marvelous works by Mollono.Bass and Andreas Henneberg, now Berlin/Rotterdam-based DJ, producer and owner of House/Techno-label AEON, Alex Niggemann, gets involved. He transfers the bands recent Single "Run Run Run" into a dark and hypnotising Melodic House track.
