Little Things

I wrote this song literally in 30 mins. 
It’s written from the heart. It’s about letting go of things and people you thought were right for you. Peace is a priority and it comes first. 
It isn’t easy. But if it’s best to let go. Do so.

Away

This is a glimpse of my fave work. Putting out a project like this is so nerve-racking because as much as I make my music for myself, It would be great if others enjoyed it too. The name 'Versahdil' represents how versatile I feel the type of music I make is. 
"Dry Voice"(2016) is one of the first songs I ever made, it's a freestyle and it was inspired by me having a dry & sore throat and struggling to sing. In the original version you can actually hear me cough.
 "Hurt Anthem"(2021), is a song about my pain. It was inspired by the amount of loss I experienced this year. A lot of the songs I write are about pain so this is just one of those. I lost a lot of family members, relationships and friendships.  
“Infinity Changes”(2017), This baby was a random. I was at a funeral, waiting for my dad in the car, whilst exploring the app and came up with this. I was in matric so the pressure was ON. The song starts by saying “Wait a minute before I die”, I have so many things that I still need to do. I’m not ready to die. 
"MeMeMe"(2021), this is a self-esteem booster. It's about having your own back and how the only person you can trust is yourself. The lyrics "Ama always be a Queen", is just a reminder of how you need to see yourself as the highest form of royalty, and nothing else.
"Our Sins"(2016), is the FIRST song I ever made on garage band. It is also a freestyle, like a lot of my songs are. I had just split with a guy I really liked and that's why I say "on the knife that stabbed me write through my heart, and you were on the other side", I felt betrayed by him. He left me for another girl. MXM!!!
"Remedy"(2016), this is the second song I ever fully made. I do not remember much about what inspired it, but it was also a freestyle.  But a part of it is just to reassure whoever may be in the future, they can come to me with their hurt, and my love will be the remedy for their pain. 
"Without me" (2018), This is the beginning of the 'Bitter" series. I was incredibly  angry at this guy and how him and I split up. I didn't want him to be able to breathe without me, I couldn't believe how he would leave me so easily, THE NERVE!!!

Anyway, all that I write about is my life experiences. These are thing I can relate too. You know. Enjoy.

So this song about my dream man and how he only exists in my brain. Realistically I’m probably not gonna meet a man that ticks all the boxes on my list. This is why I speak of flying and teleporting because those are things I cannot physically do, but I can imagine myself doing them.

Hello Freestlye

I’ve tried to be in a relationship 9 times and none have been successful. I’m so gatvol. I’m always looking for love but never finding it. This is my heartbreak anthem. I’m on my journey to heal from all the times when I got hurt and when I hurt someone else. I hate being alone , but I need to learn to fall in love with me and being alone again. This is a deep song for me because I’m expressing my hurt and also I’m uplifting my mood and reminding myself that I am THAT BITCH!!!

I need to approach this relationship shit differently.
