He is well known for his versatility where he is constantly blending in various styles and BPMs. He is heavily inspired by sounds of the past, finding ways to bring these elements back to life in his tracks.

Kyle Cortis - Eviction [TNEREC-029]

Ozzy Abela is a 23-year-old DJ and producer from Malta, carving his path in the techno scene. Six years ago, he began producing music, later investing in DJ equipment and playing events. His breakthrough came last year with L'ambience Malta, and 2024 marks a milestone as he prepares to release his first EP on a label.

Inspired by Hadone, Fadi Mohem, FJAAK, and D.Dan, Ozzy's passion for underground music was ignited at Glitch Festival 2019. He believes success comes from authenticity, consistency, and staying true to one’s sound, rather than chasing trends.

He keeps up with the scene by digging through Bandcamp, social media, and vinyl collections. He admires local talents like Yazmin, Echo Faze, Inverted MT, Reactant, Kyle Cortis, and Patient DJ, and frequently plays alongside Il Varazz and Oblivion MT. For Ozzy, the most rewarding part of DJing is connecting with the crowd through music, creating unforgettable moments on the dancefloor.
