I composed this song for my cousin (one of my dearest friends) who was taken from us suddenly in a tragic accident in December of 2021. I picture him walking to the light with his 2 dogs by his side, of whom died with him. As artists, we wear our hearts on our sleeves...I am showing you mine.

Into The Light (For Jay)

To start, my wife and I have been in a state of perpetual grief for the last 3 years having lost 13 friends and loved ones. 
This song came to me in quiet reflection of the many we lost and how all we have is beautiful memories of them. We can escape to those memories in the quiet of our minds anytime to visit them. As long as they live on there, they are never really gone. 
I had a vision of a Meadow where I ran along side one of the precious, young people we lost and these words came to me. I wrote this for her Mother and Father that day.
