Podcast #3: July 10, 2021

I wrote this song after I applied to go to Japan for an internship; it's been quite a journey, getting to that point, but it's so freeing to just say yes to something I love. We're all called to "go" in the Great Commission, so I just couldn't let that desire to do so be kept under the surface. Thus, I chose to forgo my military plans and apply to go to Japan-- and this song was born soon after :) Thanks for taking a listen!

Here is a new track by none other than me and my brother FRIBBLE. I hope you guys enjoy it, it is just fun, but with some truth about how even during this season in which death and evil are glorified, we still have the holy spirit inside of us which is stronger and greater than anything we will ever face in this world.  So I exhort you to go out with confidence into the world and be a light for the kingdom of GOD!!!

Okay once upon a time there was a Halloween Demons creepin lurkin spreading lies just like a pharisee Devil spread a fire through the city pouring kerosene Wanted people burning through their skin aint talkin 3rd degree So he sent his demons to the town to make the people scream People had to wonder “will i live??” there ain't no guarantee But some weren’t even scared, demons said “whats with the bravery” And they said “bye bye demons i got Jesus taking care of me” (so they said) “Eenie Meenie Miney Mo Catch a demon by the throat I don't plan on letting Go I know he gon holler thats until i let the choppa blow The Holy Spirit fill me up I spread it like a give n go”

man it's Halloween but all the demons scared of me man its Halloween but all the demons stare at me looking at me said that they gon need some therapy say it once say it twice please don’t play with me man this demon got five inches on me but he already know that he cannot rumble with me i hit him with one bible verse and he is stumbling said my GOD won't help me hope this helps his unbelief ok once upon a time there was a victory standing over demons maybe just a bit of tauntering aint no glory for me all the honor going to the king we a bunch of champions maybe put it on a ring putting bullet holes in the demons heads cast out all the demons that's what Jesus said holy with make it easy holy with the gelze what you tryna sell me man i ain't tryna need   ima run it back ima running back AJ with the ball when i hammer that but i aint built for that Ima new cadet but a savy veteran when you check in on the stats   man im sorry to the demons i offended I’m just kidding when the looking up man they say why he winning they just stop starting they just keep quitting they just keep stewing i just keep cooking

When I run, He’s still there. 
When I am hopeless, He shows up. 
When I feel abandoned, He does something phenomenal and is like, “You were saying?” 
I honestly never knew, He did. 

I might not know what the answer is
But I know what the answer isn't
It can't be that he doesn't care or hes non existent
Sufferings a problem and why many are rejecting God
But just 'cause you don't know the answer
Doesn't mean there isn't one
What if God's plan for pain isn't for you to skip it?
We need the nightmare to appreciate not being in it
Deeper the pain, deeper the game upon this ending
Plus God will take our place so serious he joined us in it
Jesus I feel like none other when He was on the cross
Why do the good die? That only happened once
But the good rise, but not for the good guys
It gives new hearts and eternal life to the ones who should die
He gives our pain purpose this is not in vain
We endure, enjoy, for the end joy of seeing his face
It'll all make sense then
