After releasing three singles, the Canadian artist Layten Kramer finally reveals his EP ‘Eye to eye’. Nostalgic, playful and rock-oriented, this project will not leave anyone unmoved notably thanks to the use of numerous guitars, drums and a slightly reverberated voice that give an overall sentiment of psychedelia and nostalgia to whoever is listening to it. The eponymous track perfectly embodies that idea with playful, yet moving, lyrics incorporated into a whole ensemble of instruments.

This song describes the experience of feeling chronically zoned out and misguided. The feeling of going through the motions of life even though you know the choices you're making aren't good. The driving drum beat and bass during the verses lift at the chorus for a release of tension, and the final chorus has a catchy hook that will get stuck in your head.
