This song describes two very different thresholds in my mum's life...first as a girl on the brink of womanhood and the second as an old lady in her late 80s facing the challenges of Alzheimer's and all the loss that brings..the threshold of life's cruel end for her. I write it as a tribute to the mighty woman she was.
