Trudi, this is absolutely achingly gorgeous.  Your plunging base lines overlaid with rivers of melody, your rich as fruit cake voice with fearless vocals and such poignant lyrics.  It’s a hit!

This is a narrative song, in a way, about a letter from the past I found in my mother's 'keeping' box. She has dementia now and the history contained in that letter is now missing for her, for better or worse...

Started writing last year after years and years of singing the songs of others...and now these new songs keep pouring out! Early career in folk clubs, pubs etc in the 70's then, after a thirty year break, bought a new guitar....
