A charity game was held last Saturday in New Ferry Park in memory of Tranmere's little hero Nate Gidman.

I spoke to Nate's dad Phil and Sands United FC founder Andrew Wilesith who told me what the day meant to everyone.

Tranmere Rovers supported the cause by donating tickets and a signed shirt.

Nate's Rovers took on Sands United FC Ipswich in an exciting encounter with 10 goals scored!

The game raised £2527.32 for Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group.
