Un thème parfaitement maitrisé encore une fois .... Audacieux de "côtoyer" le genre de si grand auteurs-compositeurs, mais la réussite orchestral est au rendez-vous.

The Dining Room was extravagantly big considering the size of the house and a portrait of Grandpa Henry shown pretentiously as the king of the house was looking at us during dinner. Brothers and sisters were singing “Food Glorious Food” kidding the welcome of the good meals Grandma was bringing at the table. Indeed, we were not religious and thus did not pray before eating. Uncle Rudolf was sometime joining us since he was living in a room at the basement. Those dinners with Uncle Rudolf were usually turning sour as he was a loud man with a small mustache talking about politics and how he dislikes the cultural diversity. During one of those dinners he was so upset by our society that he burned a pile of books in front of the house. Fortunately, he was so ignorant about history and literature that he burned 10 years of the Readers Digest, Humpty Dumpty’s weekly and Jack & Jill magazines. We enjoyed the fire while cooking Marshmallow and made fun of him.

Musical Note: Main theme based on “Food Glorious Food” by the Lionel Bart musical Oliver!, and the orchestration style of Prokofiev, “Lieutnant Kijé” and Paul Dukas “La Périe” and The “Sorcerer's Apprentice”. It is then combined with the structure and rhythmic of the demo fanfare “Silky Glory” by Christian Henson and orchestrated as John Adams - “The Chairman Dances”.

But really, Sy...rel was an advertising photographer in a previous life before being an engineer and is now an orchestral, soundtrack, jazz and electro music composer and producer while enjoying retirement.
