This song was also written at the height of the pandemic.  My hope was to express how confusing and absurd life is.  As the world stopped moving around me, it became more clear how insignificant everything is in the grand scheme, while also being so important on a personal level.

A solder stalked Peter while he creeped
At the dead of night searching homes while they sleep
Hidden agen-das this guy was deep 
Slaying heads letting blood flow then he’d sip
Said it’d make him live forever 
Plus it was warm…so good for the harsh cold weather 
The solder took his gun out the leather 
And let the shot travel straight through his head
