On their second album ‘ROX’, the German progressive rock band ‘Mihrax’ present a further development and renewal of their overall sound. While the debut album was dominated by strongly conceptual songs in a neo-prog style, ‘ROX’ features eight different songs that follow a more direct, straightforward and compact approach.
Boris Elfert, the band's new singer, brings a lot of energy to the songs with his unique voice, which oscillate between prog, rock and pop. Strong hooklines are carried by different rhythms, instrumental parts correspond with catchy melodies.

I - First Steps

This is my first album with vocals. It is a concept album about a man who suffers from Usher syndrome. His story is told over ten songs. All instruments were played by myself and all songs were composed by myself (with a few exceptions :D )
