Narrator: The town started an ad campaign against him and it went a little like this.

Guy (maybe the president): What a sweet little parakeet, I’m, I’m so glad to see you little guy!
Parakeet Steve: Hmm, nobody’s ever been this kind to me. Must be a kind man. Damn.

Now, Parakeet Steve grapples with his life choices! Will he choose to be a serial killer again?

Parakeet Steve: No, no, I mustn’t kill. I shan’t! Oh, oh heavens. 

As the man was speaking kindly
Steve felt a warmness in his heart

And Steve jumped to save him!

As Steve stepped in front of the kind man, he put himself in harm’s way, and subsequently fell to the ground, dead. The townspeople gathered.

Stop, stop! My name is The Mayor, and I declare that that parakeet saved the president’s life.

We have to sing for him and put him in the Hall of Fame!
