"Loverboy" was Billy Ocean's second single from his 1984 album, Suddenly. It was produced by Keith Diamond and reached number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 (behind "Careless Whisper" by George Michael)[1] as well as hitting number 20 on the soul chart,[2] and number 15 on the UK Singles Chart in February 1985.[3] It also reached the top spot of the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the U.S., in an extended version.[4] The track was released on the Jive label under the catalogue reference, JIVE 80.[3] The song was played in the first episode of the long-running BBC One medical drama Casualty on 6th September 1986.

Company B resulted from the music trend of producer-driven girl groups in the late 1980s and early 1990s, most successfully the group Exposé. Company B's first single "Fascinated" was released in 1986 on the independent label The Summer. The song created so much buzz in clubs around Miami that it soon made its way to local radio stations. This in turn led to its being picked up and re-released by Atlantic records. With a much wider distribution due to major label (Atlantic Records) backing, "Fascinated" received significant radio and club airplay in all major cities throughout the U.S. It reached number one on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart and crossed over to pop radio, peaking at number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100. Today, it is regarded as a freestyle classic. The trio was best known for this single, as well as the platinum wigs that were initially a part of the group's image. The single did so well that the group was signed to do a full-length album. The album was released in 1987 on Atlantic Records. Although subsequent releases "Full Circle," "Perfect Lover," and "Signed in Your Book of Love" received club play and led to appearances on such programs as Showtime at the Apollo, the songs received little airplay on American radio.

"Jeopardy" is a hit song released in 1983 by The Greg Kihn Band on their album Kihnspiracy. It is the band's first and only Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, reaching number 2 in May 1983 (behind Michael Jackson's "Beat It") and also hitting number 1 on the dance charts for two weeks a month earlier. The song also reached number 63 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the band's only charting song in the UK. The song is written in the key of D minor.

At first, Spagna was the voice of Fun Fun, then Antonelle Pepe and Angela Parisi took over this part. The singers limited themselves to the studio work. The act was portrayed by models Roberta Servelli, later replaced by Elena Trastulli, and Francesca Merola.

Already the first single Happy Station, in which Spagna had co-written, became a hit in early 1984. The title placed in the top 20 of the German (11th place) and Austrian hit parade (15th place) and ran successfully in European discotheques. Shortly thereafter, Color My Love rose to 17th place in the single charts in Germany. The accompanying and produced by Dario Raimondi and Alvaro Ugolini album Have Fun! came in the same year in the shops.

In 1985, Give Me Your Love took on this success, but also conquered a top 10 position in Switzerland (# 10) and top places on the Billboard Hot Dance Music charts (# 11). With Baila Bolero from the album Double Fun the Italians made it in 1987 again in the Swiss charts (16th place) and in the Billboard Dance charts (36th place).

"We'll Be Together" is a pop song by German singer Sandra. It was released in November 1988[1] as the third single from her album Into a Secret Land. This song reached #9 in Germany. This is the only song along with "When the Rain Doesn't Come" (from her 1992 studio album Close to Seven) that was written or co-written by Sandra herself, prior to The Art of Love album being released in 2007.

Für die erste Single Where Are You? übernahm Sven Väth, mit dem das Produzentenduo bereits für das Projekt OFF zusammengearbeitet hatte, den Vocalpart. Das Lied stieg im November 1986 in die deutschen Charts und erreichte Platz 11. Im Frühjahr 1987 gelang mit Changing Minds ein zweiter Charterfolg in Deutschland. Die Single, auf der eine Computerstimme zu hören ist, kletterte auf Platz 19.

Ebenfalls 1987 erschien (Ina) Gadda-Da-Vida, eine Coverversion des Iron-Butterfly-Hits von 1968. Der von Eddie Hind, Mitglied des Duos Picnic at the Whitehouse, gesungene Track verfehlte die Charts ebenso, wie die Folgesingles Too Fast to Live (1988) und Hi-Score (1989). Auf Too Fast to Live war erstmals nach Where Are You? wieder die Stimme Sven Väths, der auch Autor des Tracks ist, zu hören.
Unter dem Titel Où-es-tu? erschien 1998 eine Version von Where Are You? mit Operngesang.

Will to Power is an American dance-pop group that originated in South Florida in the mid-1980s founded by Miami's Producer Bob Rosenberg. The group recorded a number of hit singles on the Billboard dance and pop charts in the late 1980s and early 1990s, most notably "Baby, I Love Your Way/Freebird Medley", a medley of 1970s hits by Peter Frampton and Lynyrd Skynyrd that reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in December 1988.[1]

The group has also two number one singles on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play, "Say It's Gonna Rain" and "Fading Away", and continues to create music into the 21st century- and are currently performing live (Bob Rosenberg and Elin Michaels).

In 1984 the third album "Goldene Zeiten" was released, on which Kemmler and colleagues first worked with producers Michael Cretu (Sandra, Enigma, Moti Special) and Armand Volker (Münchener Freiheit, Juliane Werding). There were also musical changes as the group was clearly more adult and more mature. They had developed their own distinctive style, so working with Cretu was a very successful collaboration that went beyond their own publications. Hubert Kemmler and Klaus Hirschburger also wrote songs for Sandra ("Maria Magdalena", "Heaven can wait"), and Hubert Kemmler also wrote songs for Peter Schilling ("The Different Story") and Inker & Hamilton ("Dancing Into Danger") ). "), which were also produced by Michael Cretu. During this collaboration with Cretu / Volker, two more HUBERT KAH albums were released, namely" TenSongs "(1986) and" Sound Of My Heart "(1989), on which Kemmler sang his Songs in English. These albums, which were also produced for the international market, brought HUBERT KAH great success abroad, especially in the USA the band managed to achieve several placements in the US Billboard Dance Charts.
