Csalódtam / Disappointed (1994)

The very first song i have written in my life, back in first grade of high school...
The song is about being disappointed about where our world is heading... yeah it is kind of pessimistic, forgive me as I was still a rebel back then :D
This is a single guitar song with Lizzy and some whistle solo from me, as written originally. One of those songs that have not changed a single note over time...

Why do you think you are special? (1997/2020)

A minor blues with a bit of a slip, not the traditional sequence... so it is assumed to be some type of rock as genre is concerned, but feel free to add your opinion :)

long story short: this song was written with only having the lyrics of the refrain back in 1997, the verses were only born recently as a consequence of all the trolling and hatred i am experiencing on the internet and in the world. And that made me upset...
So this one is dedicated to all those who think they are in any means more than another one of humankind.

very busy times lately. While workin on the finishing bits of some newly recorded songs the idea came to get 2022 into a guitar riff and i started laughing when it got heared in my head. So there comes my wife asking what I am  laughing at in the afternoon of on new year's eve? So I grabbed Lizzy and played her 2022 :D

background: accompany me=follow me through a lifetime.... this is what it is all about: a love song, nothing more. In Hungarian the expression in this context is not really about following, but company... that's why the strange EN title...
I wrote this to my, then, future wife when we were only a few years into our relationship

...this one is about faith with some anger and some useless suffer...  
i wasn't in a good mood at that point.  no need to say anything more ... luckily these moments pass fast enough to forget them...

so-called wonderland (1997 - Vienna)

back in the nineties while reading the TIme magazine about the Congo, Afghanistan and other non-sense wars going on around the world this song was coming from my sadness. I was so ashamed about such things happening that this one was never really played to others but lying in my drawer among the piles of papers with songs and poems...
 
but again there is disaster at our neighbour that brought this up...  hence recorded how i feel...

PEACE on Earth!!! please!

...why can't people understand that we are all the same, we are one humankind with the same right to live, love and enjoy this beautiful world???... shame on everyone who thinks that peace is the lack of war. Peace is a state of mind when you don't even prepare for war and accept all the other people....

we all have and had heroes... unlike the ones nowadays

I always get sad when I see how more important for most of the people it is to show how pretty, perfect or successful they think they are. I rather decide on anyone's values based on how they behave, what they tell and what I feel but let it be for everyone to chase their own dreams.... 
So this is again just a very selfish song telling I am not satisfied with where the world is heading and how people changed since all this "social" and  "internet" things distorted our clearer minds...

Talk to people, Tell your story, be proud of yourself, be better than yesterday and let others discover by themselves.

This is a pessimistic song about meeting a wanderer on the way to nowhere… meeting the wanderer inside ourselves …
I wrote this after I was told my family will move to another country and was possibly too young to understand how this could change my life.
The good side is that once pessimism gets into anything the creator considers creative, it should not do more destruction in our minds.

this song was originally written in 2007 to be played on the street on  a single acoustic, but... i always heard those other 3 guitars in the background while playing....so here's a raw version
Lizzy did the chords in the dining room, as in the original, rough and dry, through a single coil and a condenser mic, then Suzy nailed down the other 3 bits

I wrote this to my wife (girlfriend back then...) somewhere on the road.
Ideally created for street performance with 2 acoustics that were both covered by good old Lizzy.

the original guitar parts were written during high school... although lyrics were also there dealing with the feeling of being in isolation from the outer world... I replaced the words later on...
The overall meaning of the song has not changed with the newly written lyrics in 2009... it's all about how isolated we can get when we miss someone... 
in my case I went down to a bar to watch people and overcome my sudden loneliness
