This photo is actually a photo taken moments before a mother and child fell from a fire escape during a fire itself which was inches away in there apartment. I believe this is one of the coolest and most powerful photos of all time and it has a lot of meaning to me as an artist based on the background surrounding the photograph. Stanley Forman, the photographer who captured this horrific scene in 1975, is a famed photographer and I highly suggest you check out his work. R.I.P to the mother and daughter in this photo, and may peace be with them as there legacy lives on in all forms of art.
