Greetings from Nashville.  Here's a blues tune I wrote a few years ago envisioning a long-haul trucker anxious to get back home.  This really came to life with the help of my friend - guitarist Darren Bates.  Hope you enjoy!

Renagade Heart

While living in Vermont, where the winters last forever, I decided to make some music on my mandolin to accompany an announcement of the coming of Spring, regardless of the fact that it was still freezing and snowing outside. This edited version of that music features my friend Bryan doing something you seldom, if ever, get to hear. That is playing slide on a dobro mandolin. The tune is upbeat, and includes some sound effects designed to usher in the season. It's time to move back to the porch y'all. Come on out and enjoy!
