"In November 2019, armed with a new line-up and an ever-evolving sound, The Shamble re-entered the studio with Tom Gulliver to record a plethora of new material. These sessions resulted in the EP "Just the One Take, Actually (The Live Sessions)", containing the track "England Expects - Live" which featured frequent airtime on KUHS Denver Radio and Northern Quarter Radio."

‘Two Black Eyes’ is an anthem for disillusioned youth - a powerful indie-rock ballad that stands to represent those who have so much to say but no platform to speak upon.
Intertwining a sparkling guitar hook with thumping bass and drums, The Shamble's eclectic influence shows elements of Funk, Indie, Pop and Alt-Rock ever present in their sound.
With previous releases gaining frequent airtime on both US and UK radio, The Shamble aim to expand their cult local following to a global phenomenon.

Meagre Means is a poignant reflection on the strains imposed by close human relationships and addressing the most ominous threat to one's self image - growing old.

This new track from York's most extravagant indie act entwines shivering ambient strings with powerful drums and unique wailing vocals, wrapped round a guitar hook that beckons the listener in. The song crescendos through a flowing bridge section before erupting in to the final chorus; carrying dark thematic overtones.

Don’t Mention It is a reflection on the often forgotten things in life with a plea for authenticity in all artistic endeavours, highlighting how even the smallest acts can have a much larger impact.

Masked by snappy, sparkling guitar hooks and intricate percussion, Don't Mention It bursts in to life with its infectious chorus hook sure to be an earworm for any Indie Rock fan. 

The final refrain; "There's more to life than misery" blends tightly with a pounding instrumental crescendo to truly drive the song's message home. This is certainly The Shamble at their most raucous.

The Shamble are a four-piece jangle-rock band based in York. Meshing driving drums, thumping basslines, sparkling guitar and profound lyricism, they have developed a loyal local following in York through their energetic live shows and radio airtime. 
In February 2019, they entered the studio with local producer Tom Gulliver to record their debut EP Heart on Our Sleeves, featuring the track Seen Better Days, which was praised by DJ Jericho Keys when it premiered on BBC's Introducing York & North Yorkshire radio show. It was released on record label Lucky Boy Records on March 8th followed by an electric release show at York's live music hub, The Fulford Arms.
