Ryan Crane presents his TECH LP, his 15-track opus, set to release April 11, 2025, on Electric Life. Drawing inspiration from iconic imprints like Hooj Choons, SAW Recordings, Toolroom, and Dirtybird, Crane crafts a deeply personal experience that bridges nostalgic grooves with forward-thinking ideas.
Whilst the record is made out of individual and standout tracks that explore various dancefloor focussed ideas, in general the album captures Crane's penchant for hypnotic rhythms and progressive atmosphere. There is a range to the sound on offer here, some cuts explore a more experimental, late-night edge, whilst the hyperreal progressive edge to his sound, offers a lush, alsmost cinematic vibe throughout.
This record shows an artist with a dedication to pushing boundaries while paying homage to the roots of the genres that shaped him. It’s a release poised to resonate.

‘A Safe and Happy Place’ is an enticing leftfield party anthem, the lead single from the Powerdance album ‘The Lost Art Of Getting Down’, which is forthcoming on Classic Music Company. Previously self-released by the group led by Classic head Luke Solomon, this soft-hued, acid-streaked disco shuffle was written with long-time collaborators Lance Desardi and Terry Grant alongside Chicago-born producer Nick Maurer and features Terry, Nick and Fi McCluskey on vocals.
