Joseph Anderson (born December 13,1994) known professionally as JOEY is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter. Born in Butte, MT, raised on the Flathead reservation in the small town of Saint Ignatius, Anderson began writing and reciting his rhymes at the age of 12. It wasn’t until the age of 22 that he released his first mixtape under the rap name JackPot, which was later changed to JOEY, as it turns out his real name has a bit more marketability than something already so popular amongst other things. Some of his favorite local artists to work and perform with in the Montana area, include the likes of John E. Wat (Helena), Four20 Tha Great (Butte), Shaad the Beast (Helena), Izraw (Missoula), Yun Tigga (Missoula), Foreshadow (Flathead), Eddwords (Kalispell), and many many more! Since he has started performing he has opened for many artists, from names like Krizz Kaliko, Shwayze, Scotty ATL, Clyde Carson, Macntaj, Lil Wyte, Sam Lachow, and much more! JOEY has yet to release a debut album but be sure when he does, it’s guaranteed to be fire!
