Stairway To Freebird

Brand new song from their debut album "Hawai'icana Dreams," *Aristocrats (The Cull)* by Popoki House is their musical response to the advocates of societal culling by so-called right-wing conservatives in the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. 

During this fearful time, white politicians attempted to make the case that elderly people, the sick, disabled, blacks, and others were expendable and should gladly give their lives to bolster the economy and thus their own pocketbooks, a breathtakingly despicable and murderous point of view similar to that described by Frederich Engels as "social murder" in 1845. Popoki House felt compelled to counter the right's outrageous argument with a protest song that reminds them of how history says these things usually play out. In other words, usually not well at all for them. Just sayin'.

The crazy cat ladies of Popoki House are here to entertain and inform with their unique blend of acoustic guitar and ukulele music called Hawai’icana.
