Ep 96 The podcast is back! New name, new everything!

I'll start the Go First -ethos podcast by...going first! I thought would be perhaps insightful to share one common theme I've experienced in my life over the last two years. I know from my conversations with friends and clients that I haven't been alone... What is it?! I'm talking about the seasonality of life and how, as Michael A. Singer puts it, life is not always about our personal preference. Tune in, never matter in what season you're in and I hope there's something there that shifts you, even a bit.

Ep 98 The biology of challenging situations

Welcome back to the Go First podcast! Today we discuss how to lead oneself through challenging situations. We break down the conversation into three steps: self-awareness, practice, and making a new choice. 

Self-awareness involves understanding what is currently happening and having a kind attitude towards oneself. Practice involves leveraging the science of neuroplasticity to form new habits and behaviours outside of the challenging situation. Making a new choice involves recognising that one has potential to behave in different ways and being mindful to choose what will serve oneself, the moment, and the other person.

Ep 100 [Part II] Invitation to presence - a meditation

In the episode I talk about the situation when we feel stuck and to move ahead, we'd need a new idea, solution or thought... So where do you go and get that from?!

I'll share my experience of going either within or without - aka finding the solution 'inside' you through eg meditation and working with different brain wave states or then going 'outside' and tapping into the consciousness and energy fields of people that can expand your mind. I personally do both of these and hope that this episode will give you more trust into self: we have tools to figure out a lot more we think we can...we just need to learn how to use the machinery!
