Un día, al abrir la puerta de su casa, entró su padre con un Piano de pared, una vieja pianola de caoba del 19.  Aquello dio una vuelta a su vida, que hasta ese momento, estaba dirigida a la guitarra.

Opening the door to his house one day, his father came in with a wall piano, an old mahogany pianola from the 19th century. This completely changed his life, which until then had revolved around the guitar.

La Puerta (Live in Concert)

El Traslado desde su pueblo natal, Lebrija, a Tomares con apenas 8 años le marca. En un momento de esta mudanza, sobre una loma de mantas que esperaban empaquetamiento es cuando descubre, por casualidad, un bandoneón de su padre. El nuevo sonido lo atrapa y le abre un nuevo mundo de posibles músicas.
Moving from his hometown Lebrija to Tomares when he was only 8 years old left a mark on him. At one point during the move he discovered by chance, sitting on a pile of blankets waiting to be packed, his father's bandoneon. The new sound captures him and opens a new world of musical possibilities

It evokes his elders from Lebrija and their experiences, the songs he listened to as a child, the family celebrations, flamenco as a connection to his everything.

Hace referencia a su primera niñez en Lebrija y sus primeras aventuras en bicicleta en la que iba descubriendo poco a poco nuevos caminos.

It refers to his early childhood in his hometown Lebrija and his first adventures on his bicycle, on which he gradually discovered new paths.

SEMBLANZAS DE UN RIO.Vs

Fernando de Magallanes llega a la ciudad de Sevilla, el 20 de octubre de 1517, en ese momento, Sevilla era un puerto comercial de vital importancia, la ciudad donde latía el corazón del mundo, un abigarrado conjunto de toda raza y nación : españoles, portugueses, africanos, alemanes, ingleses, chipriotas e italianos. El Puerto de Sevilla es como el umbral de la nueva India. Magallanes se enfrenta a la oposición de Portugal para con su proyecto,  la elección de la marinería y el prolijo abastecimiento de las naos y trabajan sin descanso a orillas del Guadalquivir para armar la flota de cinco naos y todas sus provisiones y equipamientos, para un viaje proyectado por más de dos años rumbo a lo desconocido.

Ferdinand Magellan arrives in Seville on 20 October 1517. At that time Seville was a highly important commercial port, the city at the heart of the world, a patchwork of all races and nations: Spaniards, Portuguese, Africans, Germans, English, Cypriots, and Italians. The Port of Seville was the doorway to the new India. ( A number of the monuments that make Seville a first-class tourist destination were built in this period. These include the Cathedral, the Lonja, latterly turned into the Archive of the Indies, the Giralda, and the Royal Mint, among others.) 

Magellan is faced by Portuguese opposition to his project, selecting the crew, the meticulous provisioning of the ships and works tirelessly on the banks of the Guadalquivir to assemble the fleet of five ships and all their supplies and equipment for a voyage into uncharted territory that is expected to last more than two years

Juan de Cartagena confronts him about it,, they lose days sailing, they feel the first nostalgies, and empty, starry and dead-alive skies come over them as well as weathering the first big storms. They see St. Elmo’s fire and after 72 days of tough sailing, they enter Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro on 13 December.

Rumbo al Sur del Atlántico y costa de Brasil comienza el viaje, eligiendo una ruta no acordada con los capitanes de las otras naves. Juan de Cartagena se lo reprocha, pierden días de navegación, sienten las primeras añoranzas y les sobrevienen los monótonos y largos vacíos de cielos estrellados, además de soportar las primeras grandes tormentas. Ven los Fuegos de San Telmo y tras 72 días de duro mar, el 13 de Diciembre entran en la Bahía de Guanabara, Río de Janeiro.

On 8 September 1522, the Victoria, with just 18 survivors, reaches home loaded with spices. They are welcomed back as heroes. They disembarked on Calle Betis, went to the Santa Ana Church to make thanksgiving to the Virgin of La Victoria and marched through Triana neighborhood until they reached the Chapel of the Mariners to make a offering to “Esperanza de Triana”.

El día 8 de Septiembre de 1522, la Victoria, y solo con 18 supervivientes, llega a casa cargada de especias. Y son recibidos como héroes, desembarcaron en la calle Betis se dirigieron a la Iglesia de Santa Ana para realizar el acción de gracias ante la Virgen de La Victoria y desfilaron por Triana hasta llegar a la Capilla de los Marineros para ofrendar a La Esperanza de Triana.
