Title track kicks off with a punchy bassline and a subdued crescendo, flourishing intro a full on groove extravaganza with funky loops and flaring trumpets. Movin on the other hand, is a different kind of groovy - slick and smooth, complete with sultry vocals and blistering guitar accents.

Next up on Industry Standard we have UK expat & New Zealand resident Dick Johnson.  Having been a mainstay on the House & Deep House scene for well over 2 decades he has released on labels such as Play It Down, Paper Recordings & Shaboom. His track ‘I Can’t Help Myself’ featured on our Industry Standard ‘Bits n Bobs Vol.1’ at the end of 2021, now we welcome Dick to the label for his first solo release on the label.

He’s delivered us a great 3 track EP featuring 2 versions of the title track ‘Into The Groove’, and ‘Get Up Now’ to finish it off. Make no mistake, these 3 tracks are all aimed squarely at the dancefloor, with pulsating rhythm sections, and enough disco licks to keep Studio 54 on fire. They are peak time house tracks that will not disappoint. Another Industry Standard winner here for sure…

Demuir marks an inaugural release on Hot Creations with High. Alive. And Dirty., a
diverse four track EP made up of all original records.

The EP opens with Santa and The Elf. A penetrating bassline ratchets up and down, as horn
like synths whir occasionally in the background, alongside tassel-like hi-hats. Up next, the title
track High. Alive. And Dirty. provides stunning contrast. A happy, funk-fuelled number, the
track incorporates disco elements with “positive and soulful vibes”, before Rawness - Beat 3
features a “raw native structure”, bongo sounding drums and tropical vocals to from a well-
rounded, feel-good record. Eerbawdy Wants to Deeezsko rounds off the EP in fine form, with
more disco elements and chiming, emotional keys.

Canadian-based Demuir is a distinctive talent in the electronic music sphere. A prolific
producer, Demuir has already made a home on labels including I’m A House Gangster as well
as Cassy’s Kwench Records, whilst he is soon set to release on Loco Dice’s iconic Desolat
imprint.

For this release label chief Tensnake invites the collective behind the beloved Ibiza party series Melon Bomb, consisting of Ben Santiago, Paul Reynolds, Scott Gray and Corbi. The guys step up with two original tracks encapsulating the lush, funky esthetic that is innate to their eponymous parties, for which they were commended with Best Recurring Event at the Best of Ibiza Awards.
Sweetness spells positive vibes from the get go, with buoyant pads joined by an oldschool disco sample leading up to an infectious, dance-inducing breakdown. On Didn’t I, percussion is king, as it wraps the entire track up in mystery and marvel, as it skips alongside melancholic sample loops.
