Joyce Muniz & Theus Mago’s feisty ‘Balin Bali’ Italo collaboration is a hot enough snack on its own, but with these two excellent new remixes it just got even tastier.

French producer and Jennifer Cardini collaborator Damon Jee steps up with an alternate Italo take on the original. The track builds slowly and with a moody edge as synths soar and snares hit hard over a chugging arpeggiated bassline, climaxing a dizzying breakdown which really gets the synapses firing. Slamming us back down into a sparse arrangement where that bassline rules all, the euphoria is snatched away from us suddenly in dramatic and very effective fashion.

Next up, Marvin & Guy up the tempo to a pacey house bounce and lay on some gentle electro textures. Shimmering stabs fizz atop a galloping beat as relentless bass waves undulate propulsively. The synths unfurl further in the breakdown before the time-stretched vocal announces the drop, where a heady crescendo awaits us. Synth flutes add a mystical edge next as the track steps back into a more hypnotic groove.

Its been a while since Alexey Union and Anturage were represented on our imprint. Once they remixed the “Odyssey” debut release from HIGHLITE, now we turn the tide on remix and Original track duties.

A peak time track on 1 that already killed dancefloors all over the world before the official release and a smooth groover with a lot of energy on the flip which is the perfect interpretation of “Deborah” and the wonderful lyrics and vocals of Ira Ange. What an impact given by these two tracks! After their huge hit “Otherdisco” its the first appearance of the guys after 1,5 years and we are so proud and happy to have their talent back in our aquarium. HIGHLITE really got the funk!

Anton and Dmytro are Monastetiq and both are already established producers in our scene over many years, having releases on respected imprints such as Siona, Last Night On Earth, Parquet, Blaufield, Einmusika, Selador and many more. To give their debut on JEAHMON! the guys send a fingerprint demo to our label with a track that perfectly fits into the current release schedule, matching our philosophy to represent deep, dark and powerful electronic music with this specific less is more attitude. "Uncontrolled" is all this: a raw beat, huge build ups, energetic elements, a dark voice and a ultra powerful bassline. It tastes so well! REDUX008: Marc DePulse - "Intergalactic" (Original Mix)

We start the new year with the rising talent from Zurich, Patrick Ruprecht, who brings a melodic wave of sophisticated contemporaneity with his “Voices In My Head” of which the structure evolves towards increasingly desirable new scenes: from the wrapping vocal and the penetrating riff to the break full of suspense, the track explodes in an incredible burst of energy during the drop. 

The Original Version finds a particular drafting in Marc DePulse’s reinterpretation, the veteran from Germany puts his signature confirming once again his abilities. 
Engaging choral singing, the alternation between the melodies and the indie beat and innovative tones are the hallmarks of the remix from Marc.

Patrick Ruprecht - Voices In My Head (Marc DePulse Remix)

It was in 2014 when a mutual friend introduced me to Victor Ruiz while he was staying here in Berlin. I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks. The result is our first joint EP, of which I am very proud. (Thomas Schumacher, November 2015)
