""This show pretty much reflects the sounds and textures I’m into at the moment — a rough, grainy aesthetic with time-stretched, noisy qualities, contrasted against sparkling, more hi-fi productions, all woven into the classic structures of bass-driven music.
I also went through some old chats with Charles (SOS_CARLOSS), where we’d often send each other demos or remix each other’s tracks. It was fun to finally let some of those ideas see the light of day. And of course, I snuck in a few releases from our label too""

ephemeral objects is a DJ, VJ, producer, and digital artist who thrives at the intersection of ambient introspection, driving rhythms, and textural lushness. Her sets are both meditative and kinetic, drawing from underground gems and forward-thinking sounds to create richly layered sonic experiences.

A rising star in Vancouver’s underground, she has played festivals across BC and will performing this year at Basscoast, and as i+eo — her A/V collaboration with IHA — at MUTEK Montréal. Her mixes have aired on global platforms like Shy People, HER 他, and PPRZ. In 2024, she was selected for MUTEK Montréal’s inaugural Incubator program.

Few producers embody the contradictions of our era as viscerally as Pavel Milyakov, better known under his alias Buttechno (@buttechno). First emerging from underground with a body of work that oscillated between post-industrial techno and introspective ambient, Milyakov has since shifted his practice towards deeper sonic and conceptual terrains. Now based in Berlin, he operates equally as composer, collaborator, and cultural agitator — using music as a vessel to process historical trauma, collective memory, and the psychic toll of authoritarianism. Whether channelling harsh noise into haunted minimalism or scoring fractured rave anthems with meditative restraint, his output refuses easy categorisation. Across projects with artists like Bendik Giske, Lucas Dupuy, and Martyna Basta, as well as his PSY X label, Milyakov crafts spaces where vulnerability and resistance coexist.

As Buttechno, Milyakov continues to challenge what techno can hold: abrasive textures meet hypnotic repetition; dancefloor urgency meets political grief. His sets, like his productions, exist in a tension between euphoria and erosion — propulsive yet frayed, euphoric yet elegiac. A fierce opponent of neo-imperialist ideologies, Milyakov has used his platform to denounce war crimes, reroute funds toward humanitarian efforts, and elevate lesser-known voices from the margins. From early cult releases like "Eastern Strike" to his recent frost-laced "lost sounds" EP, his sonic language has grown expansive, intimate, and defiantly plural. In this week's mix, expect a deep and atmospheric set that not only moves bodies, but also challenges histories, offering not escape, but confrontation, communion, and transformation.

Kamoun has developed a signature sound where percussive intensity meets atmospheric depth, blending polyrhythmic drums with modern electronic textures. His fascination for traditional tribal percussion, paired with influences from minimalist field recordings and British bass culture, generates a hypnotic energy that resonates with the raw power of contemporary electronic music.

On 'Wave Prophecy', his first 12" on Dance Data, Kamoun showcases his distinct range - from deep tribal grooves to high-energy dance tracks, Kamoun fuses rhythmic complexity with avant-garde sensibility, forming a unique and addictive sonic palette.

As If the full 5 tracks weren't already enough of a treat, we've also got a fresh remix from our friend Sepehr, who takes La Panthère to a tantalizing place with his 'pantheress' rendition.

“Mauro aka “DJ Saliva” is a multi-talented artist, working as a painter, visual developer, labelmanager and DJ. As the label-manager of Herrensauna Mauro is curating the trademark visuals and artwork of the brand, label and it's events. Next to being a Herrensauna resident, Mauro is as well the founding member of Porto based queer party "Arena Spa Superiora". 
Musically DJ Saliva brings together a hybrid fusion of old school & hi-tech new school sounds. From up-tempo electro & breaks to trippy & hypnotic tribal materials."

"Fado, mellow whispers, beth gibbons, psychic tv, melancholic guitars, final fantasy, lee gamble, unreleased songs of mine and more.

The tittle of this mix was inspired on Inês de Castro, a Galician noblewoman who fell in love with Prince Pedro of Portugal while he was married to Constança of Castile. After Constança’s death, Inês and Pedro lived together, which alarmed the court. Fearing her family’s influence, King Afonso IV ordered her execution in 1355. After becoming king, Pedro took brutal revenge by having Inês’s killers executed and their hearts torn out. The Quinta das Lágrimas in Coimbra is traditionally believed to be where Inês was killed or wept before her death. The Fonte das Lágrimas (“Fountain of Tears”) is said to still bear the stains of her blood.

I’ve released many dance mixes, but this one is for the mornings when we wont leave bed — to sunlight peeking through blankets, to the purges, the tears, the retreats, and the quiet return to lullabies and sad songs for recovery."
