We have decided to start off 2024 with a surprise. This single by label boss Opus Occvltiis introduces the club sound of Anekumena, a distressed and grainy layer overlaid upon intricate production, full of detail yet undeniably club-ready. Together with it, a drastic rework by fellow label founder Cartopol, in which the elements of the original track dissolve and get recomposed into a long-form, slowly developing essay that compresses the densely layered ensemble into a singular piece of ticking clockwork. 

This shared release by both label curators is meant as a statement, not only of their individual styles and vision, but also as a summation and foreshadowing of the current direction of Anekumena Tapes.
