Ransom Note Records are hyped to welcome the mighty Bleaching Agent to fold for his debut EP with us, Widowbait. The Leeds based producer has been a stalwart of the UK scene for some time, notably as resident at Manchester’s seminal Body Horror night, so we are over the moon the have snared his newest offerings for you. For this 33rd show, I had the pleasure of hosting one of my favorite newcomers in town.  

I first met Romain (yes, Oscar is just his moniker) a few years ago. He was playing at a local venue, and I was instantly captivated by his set and the energy he brought to the crowd.  I also found out he was a bit loco, in a friendly way

As I got to know him better, I discovered that behind the DJ, there was also a talented music producer. From there, a genuine friendship began to grow over time.  

Last summer, I challenged him to perform his first-ever live set for one of our events, and he absolutely nailed it. 

It only felt natural to invite him to take part in this podcast series as well.  

Enjoy this warm, sensual selection blending influences of minimal, house, and hip-hop, crafted by Salut Oscar. This mix also features some fresh, unreleased gems from the man himself.

Gregorio Dissette is a producer and DJ originally from Milan, now based in Berlin. His passion for electronic music took root during his teenage years, as he began exploring the genre and playing at parties organized by friends in Milan. A pivotal moment came when he visited Hoppetosse for the first time, inspiring him to move to Berlin to immerse himself in the city’s vibrant music scene and study music production.

Gregorio’s journey into mixing started with vinyl, guided by his older friend Massimo, who not only taught him the craft but also helped him build his first home setup. His productions draw heavily from the minimalist tradition, influenced by his work at Club der Visionaere, a cornerstone of Berlin’s underground scene.

Gregorio made his Berlin debut at the vinyl-only Tuesdays at Humboldthain, playing for a discerning crowd. Since October 2024, he has been curating musical evenings at Spina Bar (Berlin). With a new EP set for release next year (2025), Gregorio continues to shape his distinct sound and deepen his presence in the electronic music world.
