My art project is called Art As Social Inquiry. In 2012 I stood in front of the US Supreme Court and Capitol buildings in Washington DC with portraits of people trying to access healthcare. I wanted to bring attention to the need for the new healthcare reform law.

On my way to "standing," I passed many people without homes camped in front of Union Station. One day I had an epiphany that I was just like them.
