When Manuel sent me a guitar track over a year ago I fairly quickly decided to write an epilogue for Major Tom. Little did I know that I would end up taking a longish break from writing music. With infinite patience Manuel waited for me until now and to my even greater surprise this retro lyric has become almost current with the two NASA astronauts in space waiting for their return trip to Earth.

Send Me A Rocket | Major Tom The Epilogue

I wrote this song in 2003 I believe.  WOW, that was a long time ago. I was about to move to Canada with my partner at the time and I was scared for the move but also believed it was for the best and the right thing to do. I guess I was feeling driven at the time too. The song is an uplifting and motivational song about starting over, being positive and being the best that you can be.  I produced this track in 2013 and it was on my debut album 'Shades Of Red' (which I recently took off of spotify) and will be reposting in the near future.  You will hear lots of piano and harmonies too!  Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for listening!

Let Me Go

I wrote this song a while back after I had an 'awakening' of sorts.  I discovered meditation and my whole perspective shifted which changed my life for the better. Hi, my name is Nikolaos (Nick) Papakalos, a.k.a. Supergiant. I am an artist, composer, songwriter, lyricist, music producer, sound designer and musician currently living in Athens, Greece. My interests range from music to arts in general. I am also keen on reading, writing and painting.

Coming from a musical background in which I was familiarized with ethnic music from a very early age - way before this genre became a trend - I naturally developed an understanding of its multifaceted character.

It was exactly that sense of diversity that made me become a multi-instrumentalist; an attribute that has borne fruit in many aspects of my dealing with music either as a member of a band or on my own.

My long engagement with it, gave me the opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge for writing, co-writing, arranging, composing, producing and playing as well as for any other pursuit pertinent to this type of art.
