@dirtyelementsmusic and @drunk-drivers have built up a strong relationship with @samosarecords featuring on their Italian Disco Machine and remixing for sister label Daje Funk. Now the label have brought them back for a full artist EP and it's a bit of a scorcher. Featuring four tracks of funk and jazz fuelled groove heavy disco this is a real statement of intent for this coalition of Italian producers.

All instruments, sliced, diced, quantized, cleaned up, literally remixed yet maintaining the original live band feel. 
New easy to mix intro & outro. I added a little xtra latin percussion + a classic Thunderpuss type drama intro somewhat inspired by Big Love.
So it's kinda a 70's + 00's all remixed together in 2021 old school with today's technology!

"Young Hearts Run Free" (Barry Harris 2021 Remix)

I kept it at the original 124 BPM. New beefed up kick, all original tracks (keyboards, guitars, bass etc.) remixed from scratch. Everything is now sliced, diced & quantized from top to bottom, yet maintaining a performed live feel. I just tightened up the band - severely! Easy to mix intro & outro. 
Once again, "remixed old school with today's technology".

"Can You Feel It" (Barry Harris 2021 Remix)

Yet again, I remixed this using the original multi-tracks. I kept it at the original 117 bpm. Sliced and diced everything which is now quantized to a grid yet maintaining the original live band feel.
I bounced this down NOT slamming it loud nor over compressed to maintain as much of the original dynamics as possible.
There's a lot going on in this mix with all these original live musicians.
Again, "Remixed Old School with Today's technology"
A LOT of work, but i loved every minute! I love this song so much.

Remixed from the original multi-track. I've kept the original 131 bpm, made it easier to mix in and out of with the old school break in the middle. Each instrument, sliced & diced, quantized & remixed old school with todays technology.

"Babe, We're Gonna Love Tonight" (Barry Harris 2022 HI-NRG Remix)

Another "labour of love". I so LOVE this song. Spent a few months on this taking my time slicing n' dicing all the original multitracks & quantizing them all pretty much note by note, therefore "tightening up the band". It's now an even 114 BPM with a new intro and outro and a lot of 'me' type of programming and embellishments. Now updated to a 2022 version using 99% of all the original multi-tracks (except the kick).

Barry Harris was the first club DJ in the world to write, produce and perform a Top 40 hit he titled “I Beg Your Pardon” by a studio act he named Kon Kan.

“I Beg Your Pardon”, became an international Top 5 hit around the world, garnering a Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for Best Dance Recording in 1990.

In 1998 Barry relocated to Los Angeles to  coproduce in the remix duo Thunderpuss producing more than 40 #1 Billboard Dance remixes including hits for major label recording artists Madonna, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion & Donna Summer to name a few.

Barry & Thunderpuss is best known for Whitney Houston’s Top 5 global hit, “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” which remains in steady rotation today as well as Barry's  "Dive In The Pool (Let's Get Soakin' Wet). 
Also winner of 2 IDMA Awards best remixer of the year at WMC and another IDMA Award for Best Underground Dance Record of the Year.
