My Survivor

I wrote this song on a dare from my wife. She said "I challenge you to write an upbeat song" and about 30 minutes later, I wrote Home is what you make of it. I didn't need much inspiration though as the song was based off a natural disaster that left countless people without homes. The moral of the song is, you might not be able to replace certain items or the obvious, but you can rebuild and create new memories and make the best of it.

This song is about what the majority of people DON'T like to discuss, which is my faith in Jesus Christ. While I might lose followers or get passed on a major label signing, I firmly believe in standing up for whatever your disposition, creed or ideology may be in life. My salvation is what the song is about, Something I'll never Forget.
