Emcee Bruce, from Gorokan New South Wales, Australia, first started rapping back in 2017, releasing tracks independently on Soundcloud.

An ill fated signing with Round Table Records, led to Bruce signing with then newly formed Melbourne-based rap label The Zone Records in 2020. His first solo release, I Know featuring Emcee Nazza was released in May that year. He was then featured on the track Game Time from Nazza's 2020 sophomore album Fight.
