Living in NYC in the 90's was amazing! The fashion, art, club scene and food were marvelous. I dove into the club scene under the direction of Mother Madness - don't you know! The music was exhilarating! The scene was... WOW! We were so lucky to have been apart of it.  The center of the scene was Junior Vasquez.  From Sound Factory to the Tunnel and finally Arena (Palladium). The drama! Junior's music was unlike any other. Almost a mad scientist in his laboratory. Testing new sounds and creating music while we were on the dance floor. This is the first tribute to Junior Vasquez. A little aggressive with the effects lol

Stepping outside my comfort zone lol Start out with techno 135 get up to to 137 and then down to 132 with tech house.

After Hours session ONE

Another practice set for sure. A little unfocused and it was slippery haha After listening to this set a couple times not only was it sloppy a lot of the track selections were pretty bad and the transitions not so great. ￼

Mostly tech house with a little dubstep in there!

Well… overall a good tech house set. Made a couple train wrecks and a few slips. Truthfully, I was dancing too much haha 🕺

Ok so… a few slips and a wreck! 
This is new music and I hadn’t played any of it before… not bad but a little sloppy… Opened with some base house tracks!

Playing stuff that makes me dance! Got a bit fast with the Techno! Not to mention a couple tracks from an old friend… feeling like a daisy, feeling like a Lilly….. feeeelong like a rose. FEEELING like an ORCHID!

Experimenting with different genres… mostly Tekk house and techno… initially the first two tracks were supposed to be the last two tracks but I just went with it lol definitely better I think as the last two trucks not as openers  lol￼￼

"Growing up" in the DC and NYC club scene in the 90's was special.  Not to mention the “Gay Circuit Scene” Nothing quite like it! Saturday nights at Tracks DC was my first experience. Friday nights dancing with Frankie Knuckles at Soundfactory Bar, Saturday's dancing to Junior Vasquez 'till the afternoon (Soundfactory, Tunnel, Palladium - Arena), Danny Tenaglia at Twilo/ Vinyl and Victor Calderon at Cribar Miami to name a few... It seemed only natural to start DJing. In 2001 I started with two turntables, a loop machine and a CDJ. I stepped away about 19 years ago... In 2023 I started to build a home studio - an entirely new digital world! Lots to learn! Still learning lol I hope you enjoy listening and dancing to my journey...
