I'm still learning Maschine's workflow and general electronic music production and composition.  Speaking of production, there really isn't any here.  Played around with the EQ a bit.  Just a stem of something I'll try and finish off tomorrow.

Worked on this some more.  I need to learn more about chord voicing.  The arpeggiated section is a little weird.  Having a background in music is nice, but I really need to broaden my rock/jazz/etc theory.  Also, I'm really learning the danger of presets.  I've found a couple of really cool ones but the inspiration seems to be short lived.  I can craft a few bars or a pattern or two before losing interest.  I'm trying to spend more time understanding what makes them work/interesting to me so I can craft my own.  Overall my sound seems to be drifting towards synthwave I guess.  I should probably try and crank out a couple of other genres before settling on one.  May try some doofy house track next.  Still need to learn about mixing.

I tried to make a house track and this came out.  Not really interested in finishing it or doing much more with it.  I did make another version with distortion.

I made this while playing around with EQ.  It is painfully clear I have a lot to learn.  Also, the export sounds quite different than the version in Maschine's software.

I think I'm going to go back to the drawing board and use a synth pad I finished up to make something more ambient next.

Hey I'm back.  Tried to use a mix of a step sequencer and playing live on this.  Can you guess which is which cause I sure can!  Anyway, trying to learn more stuff but I think I'm biting off more than I can chew.  Still really disappointed in my sound design but the keyboard chops are coming back slowly.
