"Death Knocks" is an experimental track to say the least. I wanted to take elements from my singer songwriter vibe and combine them with some other styles that I love.  I really am a huge fan of the 808 style sounds so this sample pack pretty much gave me 90% of what i needed to make a cool track. Also I was inspired by the current season of "The Last Kingdom" on Netflix :)
