Crimson Sofa Project/Band were formed in Bahrain in 2002 by Edwin Miles (Vocals/guitar) and Ayad Al-Adhamy (Lead guitar and former Passion Pit Synth player). Recruiting Paul Thompson (Bass) and Faisal Al-Mutairi (Drums), they performed with around 6-7 original songs and the rest covers. They gigged weekly at Fiddlers Green bar, Diplomat hotel in 2003 while also performing at other venues.  Paul Left in 2003 to move back to the UK and Jonny Hall (now of the UK rock band HECK) took over bass duties. They wrote around 7 more songs and continued to gig until the band split in 2004. All these songs uploaded are all that was ever recorded. 'Gimme a smile' was the most popular tune for the band.
