Today's message in house church will be from the 35th Psalm, praying that the rights of David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt--who are unjustly being charged with 15 felonies for videotaping the ugly, murderous work of Planned Parenthood -- will be vindicated. Let all God's people pray shame, confusion, and failure on CA State Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra's fraternity of evil.

"He who steals must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with one who has need."

We talk about salvation a lot, whether we’re in the Lord, and as I’ve stated before, one measure of whether you’re in the Lord or not, whether you really believe in Him with saving faith is what you think about this divine advice Paul is giving here in Ephesians.  If you recoil at Biblical advice for living—if the New Testament says something to you that feels politically incorrect, or difficult to live or convicting-- the very first thing we all need to do is ask ourselves: “Do I really believe in Jesus?”  If you believe in Jesus, over time, you will want to do His will.  And so this is one measure today....

...The sad thing today, is that while this might seem obvious to many believers, there are vast stretches of our society who have raised their children with “don’t get caught” morality. They see nothing wrong with theft at all.  Gypsy scum.  Inner city welfare families.  These are the sort of people who steal a bicycle that isn’t locked and rationalize it by saying to themselves:  “I’m teaching them a lesson for not locking up their stuff.  (Although they don’t use the word “stuff”) There’s another rationalization brought on by the way Marxism has filtered through and poisoned our cultural values:  The corporation is rich; this store has so much stuff; the rich man is making too much money, etc.  These people are Robin Hood without the noble intentions or the evil tax collector as the target.
